I am listening to a Stars as Eyes remix of a Marumari song. This is the soothing post-lunch salve that is theoretically quieting the tiny mushroom cloud in my stomach.

For the past couple of days my midsection has felt, well, it's felt like it's been stapled... or rather, it is in the process of stapling itself. I have some awareness of my internal organs so I can feel that my stomach is contracting on itself. Oddly enough, it's turning me into a bloat machine. I half think I must've swallowed some spores in the park on Saturday and some large plant-animal fungoid mutant has attached itself to the lining of my belly and is eating all the bananas I can shove down in there.

Or maybe those nasty fries I ate at the County Fair turned into a massive bolus that is warping the surface of the space-time continuum (a phrase forever ruined by Star Trek), causing my stomach to collapse in on itself.

Maybe I just make myself sick.

....

I don't really have anything more to say, but I like this guy that I found on a stomach-stapling "information" page.

That's all.
